November 16 became the middle point of Barack Obama's six-day farewell tour. The last destination on his list is Peru, while Greece was the first country he visited.

Let us remind that on November 15 Athens witnessed a mass demonstration against Barack Obama visiting the country.

In Greece the active US president lectured on globalization and met with the country's policymakers – president Prokopios Pavlopoulos and prime minister Alexis Tsipras.

Barack Obama headed to Germany from Greece. There the American president is due to meet with heads of the UK, France, Italy, and Spain. Besides, Barack Obama is going to have a talk with Angela Merkel.

During his trip to Peru, Barack Obama is scheduled to visit an economic forum. Besides, the US president is going to meet with China's president Xi Jinping and Australian prime minister Malcolm Turnbull.

Going on his farewell trip, Obama hopes to find allies for implementing his initiatives – the nuclear agreement with Iran and several trade and climate projects.
